Alyssa Cotillo focuses on clients in the insurance and broader financial services sectors. She specializes in delivering automation-driven solutions for insurance and reinsurance organizations, leveraging low-code platforms such as Alteryx Designer to streamline reporting, enhance reconciliations, and reduce manual dependencies.

Her work spans global P&C insurers and reinsurers, where she has developed scalable models for premium invoicing, commission calculations, and intercompany reconciliations. Other areas of expertise include close process optimization, reinsurance operations, and financial analysis. Alyssa has also supported major transformation initiatives, including Oracle ERP implementations, where she has led user acceptance testing, CoA mapping adjustments, project management support, and process documentation efforts.

Alyssa earned a BS in finance from Pennsylvania State University. Alyssa is also certified in Alteryx Designer Core and serves on the Steering Committee for the Women of SIFM, assists with the SIFM Young Professionals Committee, and is a member of the SIFM Refresh Committee focused on increasing and diversifying membership.

Andrew Baxter has over 15 years of experience focused on helping companies address tactical and strategic challenges related to internal audit, controls, and operational excellence. His experience spans the insurance industry: P&C, life, financial guaranty, and health insurers and reinsurers as well as agents/brokers and MGAs/TPAs.

Andrew has extensive experience providing internal audit outsourcing services, working closely with executive management and audit committees to ensure key risks are identified and addressed through internal audit programs and control testing. He also leads quality assurance reviews of internal audit departments as well as SOX/MAR compliance engagements (program execution, readiness assessments, program design/implementation, GRC software selection and implementation, weakness and control gap remediation, program mergers/integrations, and program optimization, rationalization and cost reduction).

Andrew earned a BS in finance from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Society of Insurance Financial Management, and a member of the President’s Advisory Council of the SIFM.

Julia Paromchik has 16 years of internal and external audit experience with a focus on insurance. In her current role, Julia focuses on overseeing operational audits over QBE’s key business lines and functions to deliver audit reports and findings to executive management and the board of directors.

Prior to joining QBE, she worked within the assurance and audit function at Deloitte delivering financial audits with a focus on Sarbanes Oxley compliance and SEC regulations across large publicly traded companies within the US financial services industry.

Julia was awarded an MBA in accountancy from the University of South Florida; she is a CPA in the states of Florida and New York and a certified fraud examiner. Julia is a member of the SIFM, and on the Steering Committee of the Women of SIFM.

Gregory Domareki has over 20 years of experience providing tax services in the insurance and financial services industry. He serves clients in a wide array of topics by developing tailored solutions to help clients overcome challenges and meet their goals.

Greg’s focus includes direct and indirect tax planning and modelling, state, federal and international tax compliance and tax controversy as well as captive insurance. He was formerly with Wipfli, Deloitte and Zurich Financial Services.

Domareki was awarded a BA in history and classical civilizations from Colby College. He earned a JD from the University of Maine School of Law and an LLM in tax from New York University. Greg was also granted an MBA in business from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Greg is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts and Maine. He is a member of the Insurance Tax Section of the Federal Bar Association. Greg is a long-standing member of the SIFM and serves on the President’s Advisory Council of the SIFM.

Greg Giardiello is a senior financial executive with over 30 years of broad-based operating, management and financial experience at both multinational Fortune 50 companies and Big 4 public accounting firms.  Greg focuses on strategies and key drivers that impact business performance and operations. He has considerable exposure to international, multi-site and complex organizations and transactions. 

His expertise is in implementing business planning and management review processes, developing high-performance finance teams, creating high-quality management and SEC reporting, driving process improvements as well as strengthening the financial control environment.

Adriana Nivia has over 20 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry and is currently responsible for the finance and operations functions of Renaissance Reinsurance U.S. Inc.

Prior to her current role, Adriana was a Senior Manager in the Audit Services practice of Deloitte where she was responsible for the management of audit and consulting engagements for a variety of clients in the insurance and financial services industry.

Nivia earned a BS from Rutgers University. She is a CPA licensed in New Jersey. Nivia is a past president of the Society of Insurance Financial Management.

Chris McNulty has over 35 years of experience in the financial workings of prominent insurance companies. He is responsible for all financial-related activities and risk management for GNY.

Prior to joining GNY, Chris served as a senior vice president of finance with AXIS Capital and also with Swiss Re in various financial functions.

Chris received a BS from the College of Business Administration of Fordham University. He is a CPA. Chris is a member of the AICPA, NY SCPA. He is a past president of the SIFM and is a member of the President’s Advisory Council.

John Fitzgerald is an experienced senior finance executive with more than 20 years of diverse experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.

John was most recently Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at ProSight Specialty Insurance, helping to both take them public and to be acquired in a private transaction.  Previously, he held senior roles at QBE Insurance, including CFO of the Equator Re division in Bermuda.  He started his career with Ernst & Young LLP in their assurance practice.

Fitzgerald was awarded a BS in economics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.  He is a licensed CPA.  John is a member of the President’s Advisory Council of the SIFM.
