KBRA\u2019s objective is to think beyond traditional credit rating protocols and take an innovative, more rigorous approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew Edelsberg, managing director of ratings analytics for KBRA\u2019s insurance vertical, will provide insight into the agency\u2019s holistic rating approach that is driven more by thoughtful analysis and less by model results. He will deconstruct key components of KBRA\u2019s rating methodology and explain how this rating approach is applied using a combination of qualitative and quantitative components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formerly with A.M. Best, Mr. Edelsberg managed several analytical teams that provided rating coverage for diverse groups of domestic life\/health insurers.\u00a0 He also authored and oversaw the writing of research articulating A.M.
