Mr. La Forgia is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of QBE’s enterprise risk management framework are fully delivered and embedded within the organization.

He is also serving a secondment as Interim Group Risk Transformation Director, where his is responsible for driving QBE’s uplift in risk management capabilities, tools, and insights across the organization.

Prior to joining QBE in 2016, Adrian spent nearly 12 years at AIG in roles of increasing operational scope and responsibility, including claims, marine underwriting, distribution and almost four years as Chief Operating Officer, Global Commercial Underwriting Quality for the Property and Casualty division.

Adrian started his insurance career in AIG’s internal audit group, where he led a number of engagements within the P&C, life & retirement, asset management and IT segments, along with IT SOX testing efforts.

Adrian holds a BS in electrical and computer engineering from Villanova University. He earned an MBA in technology management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
