Mr. Kearney has 7 years of public and private insurance industry accounting experience focused on reinsurance accounting as well as operations and process improvement with broad experience in common insurance accounting systems and lines of business.

Christian has served as an integral team member within the insurance advisory practice, and has assisted key clients in data analytics, PMO, financial accounting, internal audit, and MAR/SOX implementation.

Formerly, Christian was with QBE North America as the lead project manager reporting directly to the global head of reinsurance. He supported multiple functions and requests covering underwriting, claims, actuarial and finance. Christian led the development of an insurance agencies financial statements and supported the development of management reporting KPIs there as well.

Mr. Kearney earned a BS/BA in accounting from Manhattan College. He developed and presented a CPE accredited reinsurance training to all of Grant Thornton’s National Offices and GT’s Shared Service Center in Bangalore. Christian is a member of the SIFM and the Steering Committee of the SIFM Young Professionals.
