Trevor Dunaway

Mr. Dunaway has over six years of experience providing financial statement audit, audit of internal control, technical accounting advisory, and related assurance services to both public and private multinational corporations in the insurance industry.

KPMG IMPACT is the organization’s global ESG solutions practice.  Prior to joining KPMG IMPACT, Trevor was a manager with the firm’s New York audit practice specializing in the insurance industry.

Trevor serves as the KPMG US liaison on the World Economic Forum and Big 4 project team for ESG metrics and consistent reporting of sustainable value creation. He has experience leading reasonable and limited assurance attestation engagements over ESG commitments, metrics, and disclosures in accordance with SASB, GRI, GHG Protocol, and client-specific criteria; current state and gap assessments over ESG monitoring, reporting, and governance processes; and issuance of social / green bonds in line with the green bond principles.

In addition, Trevor leads KPMG’s New York pride@kpmg inclusion council for LGBTQ+ employees and allies in support of KPMG’s diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments.

Mr. Dunaway earned a BS in accounting and business management from North Kentucky University. He is a CPA licensed in New York and Ohio.
