Mr. Manders serves as the president of Cigna’s Government and Solutions organization, building on his successful 30-plus-year career with the company. This organization brings together Cigna’s U.S. Government business segment, including all Medicare, individual, and Medicaid product offerings, and solutions, including products, digital, analytics, service, and clinical functions that enable all Cigna businesses and rapidly deliver value to the market.

Matt previously served in a variety of executive leadership roles at Cigna in the US and globally, most recently as president of strategy and solutions; president of government and individual programs and group insurance; president of regional and market operations; president of customer segments; and president of Cigna HealthCare’s middle market segment and national contracting and provider services functions.

During his career with Cigna, he also served as senior vice president and controller of Cigna HealthCare, and prior to that was the president and general manager of Cigna HealthCare Mid-Atlantic and Cigna HealthCare Virginia. Manders has also held leadership positions in network and financial operations and spent seven years with Cigna International in several different finance positions. Prior to joining Cigna, Manders was a senior auditor for Transamerica Corp.
Mr. Manders earned a BS from Rider University. He is a certified public accountant.
