Ms. Comparato has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. She is the executive sponsor of Argo Group’s diversity and inclusion initiative. Susan previously served as Argo’s US general counsel and most recently as SVP US Insurance, managing a portfolio of Argo’s US business lines.

Prior to joining Argo Group, Ms. Comparato spent 16 years at Syncora Holdings where she held a number of senior positions, including ceo and board member and general counsel. Ms. Comparato started her career as a securitization attorney with Sidley Austin LLP.

Ms. Comparato received a BS in finance from Georgetown University. She earned a JD from the William & Mary School of Law where she was the managing editor of the Administrative Law Review.
