Mr. Anderson is in the federal tax compliance and accounting group overseeing the life insurance entities and tax technology.  Jacob’s current concentration includes management of the following tax processes SSAP 101 provision, GAAP provision, 1120-L and consolidated mixed group filing, tax planning and modeling as well as other special projects.

Additionally, Jacob oversees the tax technology group and various tax systems at New York Life including CORPTAX, My Insight CE, and Premium Pro.

Prior to assuming his current role, Jacob was a Senior Manager at Enstar Group Limited. In this role he was responsible for all US federal tax matters, global tax footnote reporting and assistance on M&A tax due diligence. Before joining Enstar, Jacob worked in Deloitte’s financial services taxation industry with a specialization in insurance.

Mr. Anderson earned a BA in accounting and an MBA in accounting from the University of Oregon.
