Mr. Abkowitz manages the high net worth individual and investment management company tax services group within the alternative investment industry practice in the United States. He is also the firm’s private client services leader and formerly ran the financial services tax practice for a national CPA firm.

Warren has extensive skill representing high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as various hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds, broker/dealers, investment management companies, and registered investment advisers. He has extensive experience working with trusts, as well as, traditional partnerships, corporations (both public and private). He provides business consulting, planning (federal, state and estate), and compliance services to all types of financial services industry clients and General Partners.

Warren earned a BS in accounting from Rutgers University, an MS in taxation from Seton Hall University and a JD from New York Law School. Warren is a regular contributor to various print and electronic hedge fund resources.
