Manyi Luo has over 14 years of experience in the insurance industry. In her current role, she leads the reserving function for Sompo’s North America and Bermuda insurance portfolio of $5B reserves across a wide range of lines including casualty, property, professional, specialty and crop insurance.

Prior to joining Sompo, she spent a decade consulting at Milliman. She holds a BS in mathematics from Nanjing University and a MS in actuarial science from Columbia University. Manyi is a certified actuary since 2015.

Michael Zimmerman has more than two decades of experience leading technology and management consulting engagements across the insurance, asset management, financial services, and brokerage industries. His areas of expertise include large scale technology transformation initiatives, including multinational ERP and cloud programs, enterprise technology transformations, change management, systems integration, and organizational change at many Fortune 100 organizations.

He focuses on technology modernization, cost optimization, business case realization, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Mike helps organizations strengthen their technology capabilities, improve operational resilience, and achieve measurable value through strategic and sustained transformation efforts.

Mike earned a BS in business administration and management information systems from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Xavier University. His certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor, Project Management Professional, and ITIL Foundations.

Jackie Hilferty has over 25 years of experience in human resource management. In her current role, Jackie provides strategic partnership and support on talent-related matters for the global functions.

With a foundational HR generalist background, Jackie has held a variety of roles during her 16 years with Chubb including HRBP roles, HR Communications Leader and, until recently, Head of NA Talent Acquisition. Prior to Chubb, she gained valuable HR experience at The Siegried Group and ExecuTrain.

Jackie earned a BS in business administration from the University of Delaware. She received a Human Resources Management Certificate from Villanova University.

She earned a Professional in Human Resources Certification from the HR Certification Institute as well as a certified professional designation from the Society of Human Resource Professionals.

Adrian Lynch has 30 years of experience across alternative risk, reinsurance, captives, brokerage, life, annuity, long term care insurance and pension risk transfer. He also has extensive experience in capital raising and private placement life insurance in a career that has been spent among Ireland, New York and the Cayman Islands.

He has held a variety of roles including chairman, founder, CEO, managing director, chief commercial officer giving him a range and depth of experience within PLCs and private companies across all levels of strategy and operations.

Adrian established the Blue Ocean Reinsurance Group in the Cayman Islands to build and run reinsurance companies for asset managers and private equity. Blue Ocean also offers insurance management, brokerage, advisory and consulting services allied to capital raising solutions.

Adrian graduated from the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is a Member of the Insurance Institute Dublin & London. He has served as chairman of the Special Olympics in the Cayman Islands for 11 years, he serves currently on the board of the children’s medical research foundation of New York.

Kim Wylam has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of human capital including recruitment and retention. She leads the human capital advisory team, a large and multi-faceted group of consultants specializing in HR and payroll strategy, operations, benefits, and workforce transformation. She oversees complex, enterprise-wide engagements and guides cross-disciplinary teams in delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that elevate organizational performance.

Kim has developed an extensive portfolio of thought leadership, with published articles appearing in the PA Business Journal, HR Executive Magazine, HR Technology, and Thomson Reuters on a wide range of human capital topics and trends.

Kim earned a BS in business administration from the University of Scranton. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resource Management. Kim was named to the Consulting Report’s Top 25 Human Capital Consultants in 2024, and Top 25 Women in Business by the Pennsylvania Business Journal.

Ryan Borchers has eight years of experience in financial services sector and recruitment. He leads the insurance, finance and accounting where he partners with insurance carriers, reinsurers, and MGAs to recruit CFOs and senior finance leaders. He specializes in building high performing teams across financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, corporate development, and investment accounting functions.

In his role, Ryan advises executive leadership teams on strategic hiring initiatives tied to growth, transformation, and organizational buildouts. He supports both retained and contingent searches nationwide and brings a real time view of talent trends, compensation dynamics, and how modern insurance finance functions are structured to meet evolving regulatory and reporting demands.

Ryan holds a BS in marketing and psychology from The College of New Jersey. He is licensed by the CFA Institute for Level II certification.

Ryan has volunteered with the New York Road Runners and participates in the TCS NYC Marathon.

Vineet Venkat has over 15 years of experience in underwriting. He currently leads the SCOR national underwriting team which specializes in large, complex construction risks including power, energy, infrastructure, and high-tech segments.

Prior to joining SCOR, Vineet was with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty where he held several leadership roles including northeast underwriting team leader for construction insurance. During his tenure, he managed diverse portfolios and was extensively involved in insuring large scale data center projects for SCOR.

Vineet’s international experience spans North America, London, and the Middle East & Asia and he strives to bring global underwriting insight into daily underwriting challenges.

Vineet earned an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School, concentrating is strategy, business analytics and finance. He was awarded a BS in technology, electrical and electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in Mangalore, India.

Marion Leydier has over 25 years of experience with Sullivan & Cromwell in France and the US. Marion’s practice is primarily focused on domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity, restructuring and securities transactions involving insurance companies and other financial institutions, including banks, private equity funds and investment advisers, and the process of obtaining related regulatory approvals.

Marion also represents US and international financial institutions in connection with a variety of matters before federal, state and international regulatory bodies. Marion co-leads both the firm’s global insurance/reinsurance practice and North America insurance practice.

Marion was awarded a JD from Columbia Law School. She also earned degrees from the University of Paris, Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is a member of the Bar Association of New York.

Marion has been recognized as a leading lawyer by numerous legal publications, including M&A Advisor, The Legal 500 United States and New York Super Lawyers.

Paul Truitt has more than 25 years of experience providing business and technology solutions, with a deep background in identifying and mitigating security risks and performing cyber assessments for clients in the retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and banking industries.

Formerly, he was a managing director in a midsize national accounting firm where he led the US cyber practice. He focused on managed detection and response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security assessments, and cloud security services. He also worked at a national managed services organization where he was the head of cyber services and chief security officer.

Paul was awarded a BS in marketing and management information systems from Salisbury University, Maryland, and is a graduate of Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania, with an MBA degree.

His certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator, Certified Ethical Hacker, and Certified Checkpoint Security Administrator.

Jacqueline Strayer is a communication, marketing and leadership expert, consultant, educator, and cultural enthusiast. She served as an elected officer of three global publicly traded Fortune 500 companies overseeing marketing and communications in diverse industries. She is a faculty member at New York University and Columbia University and is faculty lead for the NYU Stern School of Business Social Impact Fellows Program.

Jacqueline writes about contemporary issues and their relationship to leadership, marketing, and the public relations practice. Throughout her career she has had both a personal and professional focus on social impact and its intersection with business and society.

Jacqueline formerly worked at GE Capital, United Technologies, Johnson Controls and Medtronic prior to embarking on a consulting career (The Sound Advisory Group) and teaching careers.

She holds an MPS from the Tisch School of the Arts, Graduate Division of Film and Television, New York University, a BA from the University of Connecticut in economics and political science and has completed all coursework towards a doctorate in organizational leadership. She completed additional coursework at the London School of Economics while she worked as a research associate for Sir Marcus Fox, MP (Yorkshire).
