Michele Landon has more than 25 years of professional tax experience rendering tax consulting services to a variety of clients in the financial services arena with a specific focus on U.S. and foreign-based multinational companies. She primarily advises financial services companies on a full range of federal and international tax issues including serving insurance, banking and capital markets clients on a full range of global and US tax issues, preparation and review of ASC 740 and SSAP 101 calculations and disclosures.

Michele has also helped companies standardize their compliance and reporting processes, including helping them determine the activities that can be performed centrally versus those that should be performed locally due to data privacy and other considerations.

Michele was awarded a BS and an MS in accounting from St. John’s University. She earned an MS in taxation from the Fordham Graduate School of Business and is an alumni of Columbia Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Michele is a Certified Public Accountant, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the SIFM and a member of the Steering Committee of the Women of SIFM.
