Michele Landon has more than 27 years of professional experience advising insurance, banking and capital markets organizations on complex US and international tax matters. She advises clients across a full range of federal and international tax issues including tax accounting and reporting under ASC 740, and for insurance clients, SSAP 101.

Michele helps companies standardize their compliance and reporting processes, including helping them determine the activities that can be performed centrally versus those that should be performed locally due to data privacy and other local considerations.

Michele was awarded a BS and an MS in accounting from St. John’s University. She earned an MS in taxation from the Fordham Graduate School of Business and is an alumna of Columbia Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Michele is a Certified Public Accountant, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the SIFM and a member of the Steering Committee of the Women of SIFM.
