Matthias Liermann has over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. He leads and delivers projects covering a wide range of topics including transformation and process optimization, IFRS 17 and GAAP, actuarial modelling, internal audit and risk management.

Matthias has led independent reserve reviews for European P&C insurers, for long-tail business and has experience with actuarial P&C audits, including leading the P&C actuarial audit transition for a major European insurer.

Matthias earned an MA in mathematics from the Technical University of Dresden. He is a Certified Actuary.
