Mr. Liermann has over ten years of experience advising and auditing P&C insurance companies, including expertise with Solvency II, IFRS17, GAAP audits and actuarial processes.

Matthias has led various actuarial audit engagements both on IFRS and GAAP. He has performed and led independent reserve reviews for European P&C insurers, for long-tail business and has experience with actuarial P&C audits, including leading the P&C actuarial audit transition for a major European insurer. Matthias also led the P&C actuarial stream for an IFRS17 implementation for a major European insurance group.

Mr. Liermann earned an MA in mathematics from the Technical University of Dresden. He is a Certified Actuary.
