Gary Schuldt has a strong foundation in small business operations and a growing career in insurance. He brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial grit and industry expertise. Gary’s professional journey began in a family business, established in 1947, which he successfully ran for over a decade before its sale. Starting in insurance, he worked his way up from the ground floor to managing Jencap’s marketing and inside brokering team, leading two direct reports.

Currently, Gary is focused on building his book with the goal of transitioning into a production role. His day-to-day involves driving new business—primarily in the real estate sector—and navigating some of the most challenging renewals in our portfolio. His book is heavily concentrated in habitational and real estate exposures, with a specialization in large, complex excess liability towers. Gary also handles a significant volume of hospitality and commercial LRO risks, positioned at the intersection of strategic growth and technical underwriting.

Gary pursued a degree in engineering at Western New England College, where he was awarded a lacrosse scholarship.
