Adrian Lynch has 30 years of experience across alternative risk, reinsurance, captives, brokerage, life, annuity, long term care insurance and pension risk transfer. He also has extensive experience in capital raising and private placement life insurance in a career that has been spent among Ireland, New York and the Cayman Islands.

He has held a variety of roles including chairman, founder, CEO, managing director, chief commercial officer giving him a range and depth of experience within PLCs and private companies across all levels of strategy and operations.

Adrian established the Blue Ocean Reinsurance Group in the Cayman Islands to build and run reinsurance companies for asset managers and private equity. Blue Ocean also offers insurance management, brokerage, advisory and consulting services allied to capital raising solutions.

Adrian graduated from the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is a Member of the Insurance Institute Dublin & London. He has served as chairman of the Special Olympics in the Cayman Islands for 11 years, he serves currently on the board of the children’s medical research foundation of New York.
