John Vicari has over 12 years of experience managing complex claims. His expertise includes auto, slip and fall, ceiling collapse as well as New York Labor Law construction losses. John handles high-severity cases from start to resolution, with a focus on risk assessment, coverage analysis, and litigation management.

John’s experience is in working with defense counsel, brokers, and internal teams to achieve strong outcomes, control costs, and ensure compliance. He is knowledgeable in fraud and SIU investigations, including identifying suspicion claims, reviewing inconsistencies, coordinating surveillance, and supporting legal strategies.

John began his career as a history teacher with the New York City Department of Education where he developed a passion for educating, mentoring and leadership. Today he leverages that experience to drive results and build high-performing teams.

John earned a BA and MBA from St. John’s University. He is Certified Claims Adjuster and an Advanced Claims Professional from the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. He is also a member of the SIFM.
