Ian Sterling has over 20 years of actuarial experience with consulting organizations. He has led operational innovation and has been involved in significant thought leadership.
Ian has performed a variety of traditional and transformation work covering all property & casualty lines of business for insurance, reinsurance, government, and corporate companies in both an audit and non-audit advisory capacity, including serving as an Appointed Actuary.
Ian has written and published articles on topics including actuarial transformation, the changing actuarial role, robotics and automation, and financial impact considerations.
Ian earned a BS, mathematics and honors in actuarial science from The Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer Honors College. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
