Jurgen Schwabe is a seasoned finance leader with over two decades of international insurance industry experience, specializing in audit, finance operations, transformation, and acquisition integration. As CFO, Global Finance Operations at Aspen, Jurgen is leading the development of a globally consistent, centralized, and highly effective finance operations function.

Jurgen joined Aspen in July 2023 as head of finance operations, transitioning into a CFO role for the global finance operations office.

Jurgen’s leadership is defined by his consultative yet decisive style, strong integrity, and a passion for developing high-performing teams. His career spans senior finance roles at Tokio Marine HCC, Legal & General, and AIG, where he led large-scale finance transformations, managed global teams, and delivered operational excellence across finance, reinsurance, and reporting functions.

Jurgen holds a bachelor’s and honours degree in accounting from South African universities. He is a dual British German national and a chartered accountant (ACA, CA(SA)).
