The SIFM’s Annual Conference is a premier event for insurance professionals that provides insights into emerging trends in the insurance industry. Over the course of two and a half days, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with experts, explore key developments and discuss pressing topics shaping the future of insurance. This year’s conference will feature three keynote sessions:
The Keynote Session on Monday, September 8th will feature Naohiro Mouri, AIG’s former Chief Audit Executive. His presentation is entitled Revolutionizing Internal Audit – The AI-Driven Transformation. In this session, he will discuss how AI is changing the overall performance and operating model for internal audit. He will also touch upon how CFOs should be thinking of AI and the internal audit function.
On Tuesday, September 9th the Keynote Speaker will be Hank Watkins, Executive Director, The Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science, at St. John’s University. He was formerly regional director & president of Lloyd’s, Americas where he was instrumental in helping customers and stakeholders navigate new risks and solutions. Prior to Lloyd’s, he held client management and leadership positions at Chubb, Johnson & Higgins, Marsh, and HRH.
On Wednesday, September 10th, the Keynote Session will be on Critical Topics for Insurance Board Members with moderator Mathew Tierney, Partner, Grant Thornton Advisors LLC , and with insight from:
- Matthew Adams, Non-executive Board Member, Fidelis Insurance Group; Board Member for Globe Life Inc, Mutual of America Financial Group and Concert Group
